Job description

We are seeking a skilled SpringBoot (Java) Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in developing and maintaining web applications using SpringBoot framework. Success in this position will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deploy high-quality software solutions that meet business requirements. As a key member of our development team, the SpringBoot Developer will play a critical role in driving innovation and growth within our organization.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain SpringBoot applications using Java programming language.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and implement software solutions.

  • Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code that meets industry standards and best practices.

  • Troubleshoot and debug issues in existing applications, and provide timely resolutions.

  • Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.

  • Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in software development, and apply them to improve the quality and performance of applications.

  • Write and execute unit tests to ensure the reliability and functionality of code.

  • Work with databases and data structures to store, retrieve, and manipulate data.

  • Implement security measures to protect applications from potential threats and vulnerabilities.

  • Document technical specifications, user manuals, and other relevant documentation to ensure effective communication and knowledge transfer.

Job requirements

  1. Strong proficiency in Java programming language

  2. Experience with SpringBoot framework

  3. Knowledge of RESTful web services and API development

  4. Familiarity with database technologies such as MySQL, MongoDB, or PostgreSQL

  5. Understanding of software development principles and methodologies

  6. Ability to work in a team environment and collaborate effectively with other developers and stakeholders

  7. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills

  8. Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  9. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field

  10. Relevant certifications such as Oracle Certified Professional, Java SE
